“Volunteering with Team Up has opened my eyes in a lot of ways that I didn’t expect. I thought I was going to be able to come in, mentor some high school boys on math, and that’s it. But they’ve taught me as much or more than I’ve taught them.”

Become a Mentor

The role of a youth mentor at Team Up Mentoring is to offer guidance, empathy, and a positive influence in each young person’s life. Youth mentors foster trust, build self-esteem, and help kids develop resilience and confidence. Mentors often become a consistent and reliable presence, offering support and encouragement as the young person faces challenges and works towards their goals.

Commitment: (4) Tuesdays and/or Thursdays a month from 5:45 - 8:00 pm

Elementary Mentors

APPLY HERE

Discover the profound significance of mentoring pre-k through fifth grade elementary children at Team Up Mentoring. We believe that children who receive mentoring at a young age are a catalyst for personal growth, empowerment, and future success.

Through the power of your mentorship, you help provide children with nurturing relationships, guidance, and support during their critical developmental years. Mentoring fosters a sense of belonging, expands horizons, and instills essential life skills.

At Team Up Mentoring, we focus on four core areas: financial literacy, emotional regulation, career skills, and spiritual growth. Join us to explore the transformative impact of mentoring children and learn how you can get involved as a Team Up mentor. You don’t have to be an expert to make a great mentor! Together, let’s shape young lives and build a brighter future.

Teen Mentors
